Composer Brahms,

“Brahms’ music didn’t touch me until I grew older. Although he earned his reputation by publishing his First Symphony in his 40s, he did not give up his search for musical beauty nor his passion for composition. Not only does the authenticity of his music motivate me every day of my life, but his devotion to music inspires me.”

“He was the most respectable violin teacher in China. His devotion and influence in cultivating Chinese violinists have been long lasting. I was fortunate to be his last student and very thankful for his guidance.”
