Our Narratives consists of a group of moms residing in the California Bay Area, USA. After our kids graduated from college, we decided to dedicate ourselves to learning new things and knowing new people.

Because we are immigrants from Asia (mainly Taiwan and Japan), we have seen the diversity of cultures in the Bay Area and how they have merged and transformed into a vibrant community. The natural beauty of Northern California has also been a source of inspiration for us as it captivates people’s minds and hearts. That and the relative level of education and industry of the people in the Bay Area make it an oasis for beauty, intellectual curiosity, and creativity.

So we started interviewing people in the Bay Area. With the help of social media, we are able to expand our reach across the globe. Our Narratives is an ongoing project and we are grateful to everyone who has participated in it.
