She was born in Taiwan. In 1988 she attained her MA in Art History from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Then she worked as an assistant curator in Education at Taipei Fine Arts Museum. She also worked as an editor/journalist for magazines and freelanced for newspapers in Taiwan and in Boston. She taught at the College of the Holy Cross and Wheelock College as Lecturer on “East Asian art History”, and in Worcester Art Museum, Palo Alto Arts Center, Mountainview School of Music and Art, Chinese Cultural Center (Boston) as an art instructor. Currently, she teaches art at Starcloud Studio and the Ichen Art Academy.
Her art works are representational of the Chinese and Western medium. She won the Award of Excellence (2019) and Second Place (2014) in Fremont AA (CA) Juried Annual Shows; accepted in the 2016 and 2014 juried 2D Art Competition in Triton Museum; and in 2007 Juried “Summer Solstice” at Boston Exhibition and Convention Center. Solo exhibitions include 2015 in FAA, 2007 at Milford Chamber of Commerce (NH), 2002 at Newberry Cours (MA), and 2001 at Concord Public Library (MA). She has participated in Joint exhibitions in California, Massachusetts, and Taiwan.
